West Shores Instructors

  • Jennifer is a fitness enthusiast with a passion for learning. Her yoga journey started as a desire to learn how to handstand, but soon evolved into a love of the practice. She loves drills that incorporate elements of balance, strength, and flexibility. Get ready to work hard, have fun, and leave each class feeling accomplished and energized.

  • Kristen started doing yoga when gyms closed in 2020. She immediately fell in love with the practice and soon found herself taking classes 5+ days a week. Yoga provided her with the space to step away from the chaos of everyday life and to reconnect with pieces of herself that she hadn't even realized she'd lost. After experiencing the amazing effects that yoga can have on the mind and body, Kristen knew she wanted to share the knowledge with others and continue to deepen her own practice. She received her 200 hour RYT in 2021 and has been teaching studio classes ever since.

Kristen's approach to yoga is focused on finding balance between strength and flexibility, effort and ease. She believes that each person's time on their yoga mat is an opportunity for self-discovery and growth, and encourages students to practice from a place of curiosity.

  • Amara is an elementary school teacher with a passion for building relationships and helping her students grow. When her personal practice and interest in yoga grew she decided to mesh her passions together. Amara received her 200 hour RYT in Portugal where she found a new love and appreciation for her spiritual practice.

  • Born and raised in Omaha, Tracy has been in the healthcare industry and has extensive knowledge and understanding of overall health, fitness and body awareness.

Tracy started practicing yoga to regain clarity in life and restore her health from the inside out. She completed her 200 Hour RYT in 2021 with One Tree Yoga. Her teaching style is inclusive for all, with a goal of creating a safe space that allows each student to show up exactly as they are and where they are. Tracy wants to promote space for self discovery and encouragement to grow both physically and spiritually. Her desire is teaching others to conquer their inner chaos and boldly step into the healthiest, most fulfilled version of themselves. True freedom lies in having the awareness and becoming the observer of our own thoughts, ultimately gifting us the power of choice to navigate each day with conscious appreciation.

Tracy is a wife, a mother of four, and a business owner. She loves to travel and spend time in nature.

  • Ariel and her family love to travel and find themselves at a new Yoga Studio with each adventure they take. Ariel found yoga in 2013 after being away from tumbling for 10+ years from an injury. She began practicing hot vinyasa flow in 2020, and fell in love with the practice all over again. Ariel trained under the tutelage of her mentors, Liz Hagestad and Steve Safranek and received her 200-hour RYT in 2022 at Lifetime Fitness. Her approach to yoga encompasses energy, peace, intuition, grace, and spirituality. Ariel loves to share that yoga is a practice of self-exploration, self-acceptance, and self-transformation.

  • Owner and stylist of ONEsalon in Waterloo, Sarah is familiar with needing to slow down and focus on breath work and meditation, which is what she brings into her classes. After practicing for years she received her 200 Hour RYT in 2016 with Carole Westerman in Omaha, Nebraska.

She values a calm environment where you can grow your physical body as well as spiritually.

In her classes, students can expect peace and calm in their body and mind. Sarah will instruct longer pose holds, and taking several rounds of breath in each pose.

  • Andi received her 200 Hour RYT in 2012. Over the course of the years, she has explored traditional paths of Yoga and dove deep into the world of Spirituality, Eastern Philosophy, Ayurveda and Classical Yoga. She has studied with a variety of teachers from those based in the more spiritual aspects of yoga to others focused on the anatomical, alignment based, vinyasa portions. She enjoys incorporating aspects of the latest information in neuroscience, exercise, yoga and mindfulness to enhance each student’s experience and personal goals. Andi is also a licensed massage therapist. You can expect to sweat and transcend in her Vinyasa flow classes, which are always set to an awesome playlist.

  • Jess, an avid runner, has been practicing yoga since 2009 and received her 200-hour RYT in Joshua Tree, California. She has experience in Sociology and Radiology Technology, with expertise of the skeletal system, anatomy and physiology of the human body. Her interests of the mind led her to study Jungian psychology and philosophy at Creative Mind University in 2022. As she continues to deepen her holistic mind, body and spiritual practice; she is excited to share her passion and enthusiasm of yoga with her students.

  • Nicole began practicing yoga in 2013. Yoga started as an interest in the physical practice, but it quickly evolved to much more than that. Nicole loves the mental and spiritual aspects of yoga, and uses her practice as a tool to manage anxiety and find a deeper connection with self.

In 2022, Nicole completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training. She strives to create inclusive, fun, and educational classes, set to a great playlist. In class, you can expect to connect breath and movement while you sweat and flow through poses that challenge and enhance your mindset, strength, balance, and flexibility.
