Melt Live
What is Melt Live?
Melt Live empowers the whole Melt community to participate in an event-driven, scheduled, live (via online video) class experience. Melt Live allows the Melt community to be together (virtually), even when we are separated. Melt Live allows students to Melt on their own mat and in their own location (at home, in a park, or from another country).
How much does a Melt Live class cost?
Melt Live Unlimited is $29 for unlimited Live classes every month. A single class drop-in is $8. A package of 5 classes is discounted to $70.
Can I use studio class packages for Melt Live?
Unfortunately, the Melt in-studio class packages are not transferrable or applicable.
Do students with active monthly memberships have free access to Melt?
Yes, students who have monthly memberships will have free access to Melt Live.
Registering For A Melt Live Class
What and when are Melt Live classes offered?
Melt offers a variety of Live classes – from Melt 1 to Cardio Sculpt – every day of the week. A dedicated Live schedule is here.
Do I need to “sign-up” for a Melt Live class?
Yes. To participate in a time-specific Melt Live class, students need to “register” for the class using the same in-mobile or online scheduling tools available for regular Melt class registration. Registration is required to receive online access information and permissions to participate in the class.
What are the steps for Melt Live registration?
The steps to register will be:
Visit the Melt Live schedule online or in-app. Click “Register” to reserve your class.
To complete your reservation, students will log-in with their Mind Body account. If a student does not have a Mind Body account, they will be prompted to set up an account and purchase a single class or class pack.
Upon completion of registration, students will receive an individualized confirmation email.
Melt will email each registered student a dedicated video access link 30 minutes prior to class to enable access.
How do I access a Melt Live class after sign-up / registration?
Melt will email each registered student a dedicated video access link 30 minutes prior to class to enable access. Please log-in early to ensure you have a proper connection and your video experience is working.
Do I need a new access link for every Melt Live class?
Yes. Each registration or class scheduled will create a new, individual access link to the Melt Live class. Emails will be sent prior to the class with the individual links. They are not transferrable and require your individual Mind Body log-in to access.
What is the cancellation policy for Melt Live classes?
If you cancel a Melt Live class prior to receiving the class access email (30 minutes prior to class), your class package will be credited. The class must be cancelled online through the Mind Body portal. No refunds.
How close to a Melt Live class can can I sign-up/reserve and still be able to participate?
Students can register for a Melt Live class up until 45 minutes before the Melt Live class begins. Once the class is registered for, an email with access information will be sent immediately. If an email is not received, please contact Melt immediately by calling (949) 388-5711.
I did not receive a link for class, what should I do?
Please check mailbox Junk or Archive folders for a Melt email. If an email is still not received, please contact Melt immediately by calling (949) 388-5711.
Preparing For A Melt Live Class
What equipment is required for a Melt Live class?
For Melt Live, you will need: an internet connection, a computer (laptop, desktop) or mobile device (tablet, phone) to view the video stream. For the yoga experience, we recommend a mat. Props (yoga blocks or hand weights) are encouraged but not required; household items like blankets, a gallon water jug or other similar alternatives can be used if a yoga-specific prop is not available. Weights are optional for Sculpt classes.
Will the Melt Live class have music?
Yes, Melt Live will have the same music as the class and the instructor will be speaking over it similar to the in-studio experience. We also have playlists curated by Melt instructors on our Spotify.
Technology
How do I access a Melt Live class?
Upon completion of registration, students will receive an individualized confirmation email with a dedicated link for that specific Melt Live class. Click on the link to open any browser on an internet-enabled (connection) laptop, desktop, tablet or phone.
Is Melt Live class transferable or shareable?
Melt Live classes are accessed with individualized links and require your Mind Body log-in. Melt Live classes are not transferable and are restricted to a student’s account and log-in access.
If I am disconnected from Melt Live during class, what should I do?
If you get disconnected during a live class, reconnect using the same link you were emailed before class. If you are unable to reconnect, please email info@meltyogastudio.com.
Do I need a webcam for class?
A webcam isn’t required. Enabling video within the player allows each student to fully connect with the Melt community and be seen by the instructor.
Does melt Live require a fast internet connection?
Broadband and basic wireless should be sufficient.
